HEY PANCAKE LOVERS!

Hambone Industries, Inc. and Unit B (Gallery) seek your entries please.

I, Damon Bishop, am putting together a film festival of everyones favorite breakfast (or anytime, really) treat, the pancake.  There is an open call for submissions, all types of films welcomeas long as they feature the pancake.  Yes, at least 87% of screen time must be devoted to pancakes.  Send your documentaries, your animations, your dramas and comedies, your Sci-Fis, your westerns, your art films, horror and action, dramadies and parodies, heck if you got pancake erotica send it in- maybe well do something after hours.  If you are a musician, make a pancake based music video!  The possibilities are endless. 

Rules and Regulations:  Entries MUST be postmarked by April 1, 2008.  VHS, Mini-DV, DVD, or QuickTime Files are the recommended formats and should not exceed 5 minutes in length.  There is no entry fee.  Entries cannot be returned unless accompanied by a S.A.S.E.  Most likely all work submitted would be shown.  Unless by some freak occurrence there is some huge deluge of submissions and we end up with 36 hours of footage.  In which case we may have to cut some things.  Or maybe well turn it into some sort of Pancake Woodstock (hopefully not a Pancake Altamont.)  But the chances of that are incredibly slim. By submitting your work you authorize Unit B (Gallery) and the I.P.F.F. to screen your work at festival venues.  Pancakes will be given only to persons appearing at said festivals; the I.P.F.F. cannot mail, deliver, or hold pancakes for folks who cant attend.

Okay.  Sorry about all that legalese. My lawyer recommended putting that in.  So if you got something, send it in.  Most likely you will have to make something.  Why should you submit you ask?  It will look good on a resume. Sweet prizes will be awarded.  You may gain the respect of peers and pancake enthusiasts throughout Texas and beyond.  Below is a handy application form, so print that baby out , fill it out, and send it along with your submission to:  Damon W.
